MM2 Aim Trainer Dummy drill tier list
Standing bots are a warm-up. The ranking below is the ladder that actually transfers into Murder Mystery 2.
This hub ranks dummy drills, not cosmetics. MM2 Aim Trainer is a fan range for Murder Mystery 2: load a map, pick a dummy personality, pick gun or knife, shoot. The original place launched 8 June 2021. Blu now points people at Aim Trainer 2. The ranking works on both.
Farming standing still makes the range feel easy and the first jumping murderer in a live round feel impossible. Treat the list as a session ladder. Per-dummy behavior is on dummy types. Menus are on how to play. Timed habits are on improve aim.
How the ranks are scored
Tiers measure transfer into live MM2, not montage footage.
- C — cursor and sensitivity check. Almost no motion.
- B — gun-tile geometry or strafes, without a full sprint at your camera.
- A — the dummy closes, throws, or uses haste-like speed.
- S — spam jump and exploiter-style chase. The Sheriff check most players skip.
We do not rank Icecrusher, Icepiercer, or Shop skins. A red-dot cursor and the same gun or knife you queue with beat any decorative pack. Fat cursors hide heads; fix that on cursor IDs before you trust a rank.
Ladder at a glance
| Dummy | Tier | Why it sits here |
|---|---|---|
| Standing still | C | Warm-up only. Head does not bounce. |
| Camper | B | Gun pickup fight, then often a chase. |
| Moving | B | Horizontal lead without a locked sprint. |
| Chasing | A | Core Sheriff versus murderer tracking. |
| Haste chaser | A | Faster close; peek earlier or you die. |
| Knife thrower + jumping | A | Throw timing and jump tracking together. |
| Chasing spam jumper | S | Vertical plus horizontal under pressure. |
| Chasing exploiter | S | Panic control when speed looks unfair. |
Pick tonight’s dummy from the table. Open dummy types when you need spawn details and a “done” check for each personality.
C and B are not the session
Standing still is three minutes, then you leave. Confirm the dot sits on the skull and that controls are not fighting you. If a frozen head is already hard, drop sensitivity or shrink the cursor. More standing time will not fix it.
Camper is the first MM2-shaped drill: dummy on the revolver. Sheriff work is pre-aiming that tile. Murderer work is punishing the hold. Some camper settings start a chase once you enter their space, which is why this is B, not C.
Moving dummies patrol or strafe without locking on. Hold an angle, take one shot, reset. Accuracy here is a vanity stat. After a short block, force chasing even if the percentage falls.
A and S are the Sheriff work
Chasing is the default A drill. Backpedal or hold a doorway and keep the head in the dot. If this feels unfair, you skipped the warm-up, not the dummy.
Haste chaser adds close speed. Start the shot before the dummy fills the doorway. One clean hit beats a panicked cylinder.
Knife thrower + jumping is messy on purpose. Murderer mains learn throw lead. Sheriff mains punish a jumper who is also throwing. Do not stand still to “make throws easier.” Use the knife you actually equip in MM2.
Chasing spam jumper is the public-server test. Ride the bounce while the dummy closes. Put it on the map you actually play; hallways and open tiles teach different arcs. Seven minutes here beat an hour of standing still.
Chasing exploiter copies unfair speed so you stay calm. Aim Trainer 2 bans cheaters permanently with no appeal. Do not open scripts to “match” it. Silent aim turns every dummy into standing still.
Finish S-tier with a real MM2 round the same day. The ladder is transfer, not a private kill count.
Gun versus knife
- Sheriff — gun on chasing, haste, spam jumper, exploiter. Pre-aim doorways.
- Murderer — knife throw on thrower + jumping, then chase so you learn when a throw is greed.
- Do not mix a joke knife into Sheriff blocks. The trainer allows it. Live rounds do not care.
If you play both roles, split the last block of the training planner instead of swapping every kill.
A ranked night off this list
- Claim live codes so Shop is out of the way.
- Lock a readable cursor from cursor IDs.
- Three minutes standing, five camper or chasing, seven spam jumper or exploiter, five knife or a map angle.
- One real MM2 round. Missed jumpers mean another S-tier block tomorrow, not a new dummy name.
New players should start on getting started before they live in S-tier. Seasonal hunts belong on event quests and Summer 2026, on a separate day from the ladder.
The ranking is a ladder, not a scoreboard. Climb it, then play a real Murder Mystery 2 round and see whether the Sheriff shot you drilled actually lands. If it does not, drop one dummy tier and spend another block on the training planner before you grind more standing bots.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for codes, cursors, dummies, and aim drills.
Why is standing still only C-tier?
It confirms cursor and sensitivity and then stops teaching. Real MM2 targets jump, chase, or hold a gun. After a short warm-up, move to camper or chasing as described on dummy types.
Should I rank weapons and Godlies here too?
No. This list is dummy drills and the gun or knife you already use in Murder Mystery 2. Icecrusher, Icepiercer, and Shop skins do not change hitboxes. Train the weapon you queue with.
Gun or knife — which dummy should I pick?
Sheriff practice uses the gun on chasing and S-tier jumpers. Murderer practice uses knife throw on the thrower + jumping dummy, then chase. How to play covers the role toggle.
Does a better cursor raise my tier?
A readable red-dot lets you use the tier list honestly. Decorative cursors hide heads and fake a skill problem. Grab IDs from cursor IDs before you blame the dummy.
Where do I put this ranking in a 20-minute session?
Warm up on C, play B and A in the middle, finish on S. The training planner and improve aim pages map that split to a timer.
